To enhance account security, the platform has updated how sub-accounts are accessed and managed.
Starting September 30, password-based login for sub-accounts will be disabled. You’ll no longer be able to set or use independent passwords for sub-accounts. Instead, sub-accounts can only be accessed by switching from the main account.

The platform will continue optimizing this experience to provide more secure and reliable trading.

Will updating my sub-account affect trading features?

There will be no impact during the update process, but transaction functions will be restricted after the update.

After the update, what’s the maximum number of sub-accounts I can create?

The maximum number of sub-accounts you can create depends on your fee rate tier. You can check your eligible sub-account limit on the Personal Fee Rate Tier page. After the update, stricter limits will apply.

What happens if my number of sub-accounts exceeds the limit?

Any sub-accounts that exceed the allowed number will be frozen.

Which sub-accounts will be frozen first?

Sub-accounts with the lowest account balances will be frozen first.

What happens after my sub-account is frozen?

After your sub-account is frozen, you won’t be able to use it to trade or open new positions.

What happens to my open positions if my sub-account is frozen?

If your frozen sub-account still holds open positions, you can manage your risk by adding margin or closing positions. You won’t be able to open new positions. After closing positions, you can transfer remaining assets to the main account.

Can I transfer funds during the sub-account update period?

Yes. Only trading on frozen sub-accounts is restricted. You can still transfer assets from frozen sub-accounts to the main account.

Can I deposit funds during the sub-account update?

Yes. Deposits aren't affected by the sub-account update.

How are trading fees calculated for sub-accounts?

After a sub-account is created, it inherits the main account's fee tier after 24:00 on the same day and applies the main account's fee rate starting 24:00 the next day.

Note: the main account’s customer level is determined by asset holdings or trading volume over the past 30 days. Customers are classified as Lite users or VIP members, and this level determines the trading fees applied on the next trading day.

Do sub-accounts participate in commission rebates?

Yes. If the main account has a commission rate, rebates generated from sub-account trading will be credited to the main account.

Will I receive email notifications for sub-account deposits?

No. Sub-account deposits won't receive email notifications. This feature is only supported for the main account.

How do I delete a sub-account?

Log in to the website or client, go to Profile > Sub-accounts, select More actions > Delete sub-account, and confirm. Main account authentication is required, deleted data may not be recoverable, and sub-accounts can’t be deleted via the app.

Note:

  • Deleting a sub-account requires authenticating the main account. After deletion, some data may not be recoverable, so please proceed with caution;

  • The App cannot perform delete operations.
