Note: To improve the application experience for P2P Merchant Program, OKX will adjust the video verification (Merchant identity verification) entry for new Merchants starting from 5:00 PM (UTC+8) on November 19, 2025.

1. How do I complete Merchant identity verification?

Note: The merchant identity verification entry requires the OKX app version to be updated to version 6.143.0 or later.

2. FAQ on Merchant Identity Verification

1. Why haven't I received a merchant identity verified invitation after submitting the P2P Merchant Program application?

After you submit your P2P Merchant Program application, our customer support team will review your account. You will only receive a merchant identity verification invitation only after your application has been approved.

2. Will I receive a notification after our customer support team initiated the merchant identity verified invitation?

Yes, you will receive a notification, and can join the video call from the P2P Merchant Program application page. You may also receive a video verification invitation via email or in-app system notification.

3. Why do I need to wait in line after tapping Join Video Call?

This is because our customer support team may be verifying other user at the same time. The page will display the number of users ahead of you in the queue. Please wait patiently. When it is your turn, tap Join Now to enter the video call.

4. Why hasn't the estimated wait time decreased?

The estimated waiting time is dynamically calculated based on the current queue, similar to a number-calling system. When new users join the queue or our customer support team are handling multiple complex cases, the estimated time may temporarily pause or update.

We recommend staying on the current page and wait patiently. Please do not exit the queue. If you leave, you will need to queue again, which may extend your actual waiting time.

5. If I leave the queue, do I need to queue again?

Yes, if you exit and rejoin, you will need to queue again. Please be patient and wait. and refer to the number displayed on the page for the current queue status.

6. If merchant identity verification is not completed, can I verify again?

Yes, if you did not complete or missed the merchant identity verification, you will receive another invitation if verification is still required. You can join the video call again from the Become a Super Merchant review page.
