Why do I see Pay products in both Simple Mode and Pay Mode?

You might notice Pay in both Simple mode and Pay mode. Simple mode offers a simpler, more intuitive experience for everyday payments, while still using the same account and balance. It's just two ways to use Pay, depending on what you want to do.

What's the difference between Pay in Simple mode and Pay mode?

What is Pay in Simple mode?

Pay in Simple mode is a new streamlined Pay experience focused on everyday use. In the Pay tab under Simple mode, you can:

  • Pay any contacts using USDG, USDC, and USDT on X Layer

  • Spend using your OKX Card or sign up if you don't have one yet

  • Add funds from Portfolio

  • Transfer only USDG, USDC, and USDT from X Layer to Portfolio

  • Send tokens to wallet addresses

What's in Pay mode?

This is best for everyday payments and spending.

  • Pay any contacts using USDG, USDC, and USDT on X Layer

  • Use your OKX card for spending

  • Add funds

  • Buy using PIX

  • Transfer all tokens from X Layer to Porfolio

  • Token conversation

  • Receive funds from an external wallet

  • Send funds out to a wallet address

Why am I seeing both?

Simple Pay reduces complexity and makes it easier to use Pay for everyday transactions. We’ll continue expanding features over time. You can switch between Simple mode and Pay mode anytime. Your funds and account stay the same.
